Home is a person...!!

Home - It was a kind of word that seems to be totally unfamiliar to you until you met that person.

You met them when you were totally shattered into millions of inconsolable pieces. They compassionately collected those pieces of your soul and tried to put it all together in a beautiful way. That love wasn't all about the grand gestures and gifts. It was all about the small and simple gestures. Love was brimmed in the air when they hugged you tight when you were crying. That love is all about hearing you without any judgement and when you are speaking your heart out and hugging you tightly at the end of the conversation. Love is sometimes having someone who asks about your day and tells you to have a good sleep at the end of a tiresome day.

In a world, where people often fail to understand your words, you are enough luckier to have someone who could even understand your silences. When the people around you find you as the happiest person in the world, because of your smiling photos on your social media, it's pure bliss to have someone who looks beyond that fake smile and tries to understand the real you. Isn't it a blessing to have someone who could simply understand your mood by just reading your messages?

They laugh at your lamest jokes and adore you in an ecstatic way. You can unleash your geeky and crazy side without any fear when you are with them. Their tiniest gestures of love were reassurance of being there for you, no matter how much life changes. They never make you feel that you are dependent on them, instead, they try to make you feel that you are the essence of their existence. They can't make your problems disappear from your life, but they give your heart a kind of affirmation that you won't face anything alone.

  1. I wonder, how many people, after reading this, thinking of that one person in their lives, might have actually put their feelings into words and then erased all of it, keeping it to themselves. felt good reading 💕
