The Inner ME
I met a girl a few days back, who failed again & again, in different things of life, who got failed in the expectations she had, she failed in front of everyone she loved. She got failed in her work, she got failed at one stage of life.
She struggled between the people around and her own broken soul, in fact, she is struggling...but one thing that I learned from her is, she has not given up yet. She still lives for her dream, she moved on from the past and started working for the future. She still believes in her even after thousands of taunts she hear every day.
Every day when she wakes up, she tries to find out the ways to bring back her life on the track where she left. She still tries to figure out her mistakes and work on it. She makes sure she doesn’t sleep being negative or disappoint.
I don’t know if she is right or not but she thinks she is, and her confidence makes me believe in her a little more. She is tired of people around but still fights with them to get what she wants. She now knows, that only one who can take “decision” of her life is “she” because people can just give her advice, but can’t force a decision on her, as the path to be walked on, is to be traveled by her. She doesn’t say what people advise her is wrong, but she definitely believes that what people advise is only correct and useful through their point of view, and easy for their life.
She strongly believes that no matter what happens in her life, her future is going to be as bright as a shining star she thinks she will make it up no matter how. She knows where she can work hard and where she can’t.
She now wants to be brave, independent, strong, confident, active, smart and loving. She wants to live the dream she dreamed once. She believes she will do her best in future, after so many failures she still has that spark in her to have a great life ahead. You may call her overconfident, but I think there is a difference between self-confidence and overconfidence and she clearly knows that fine line.
All I want from her is to be like this forever, I want her to be my best friend forever. Hate her, but she loves herself, and I call her with love “THE INNER ME”
